Cal State East Bay Scholarships Cal State East Bay takes pride in honoring outstanding Undergraduate and Graduate achievement each year by administering various scholarship awards. The scholarships range from $500.00 to $3,500.00, with the average award being $1,000.00. New and continuing students are encouraged to apply annually, as students may receive more than one scholarship. Although scholarships are awarded to honor outstanding achievement, many take financial need into consideration. As a result, students must file the FAFSA for consideration, unless otherwise noted. Due to the large number of applications received, not all qualified students receive awards.
