Group Visitation Program Thank you for your interest in visiting the campus of California State University , East Bay . Please read the guidelines below and prepare your students for their visit to Cal State East Bay . Two weeks prior notice is requested for group visits. Group visits include a presentation on admission requirements, financial aid information, special student services, and campus life. The presentation lasts approximately 30 minutes. If you would like specific topics addressed in the presentation, please note this in the comments area of the form below. A campus tour will follow the presentation. The tour will be 60 to 90 minutes. Typically, the tour guide will escort students by various academic buildings and the art museum, theater, and library. The University Union will be open for lunch if students wish to eat on campus. For student groups that are 9th grade and below, a 1:5 chaperone to student ratio is requested. For 10 th grade and above, a 1:7 chaperone to student ratio is requested. Student guests are asked to be courteous to staff, faculty, and Cal State East Bay 's students during their visit. If a student visitor is causing a disruption, the tour guide may ask a chaperone to escort the student to either the bus or to the Welcome Center for the remainder of the tour. After a reservation has been confirmed an email confirmation will be sent and will include a campus map with directions to the university and bus driver guidelines. If you are traveling by car or van, arrangements can be made to have a parking passes available. Buses do not require a permit but will need to park in lots H, G or F.
